Right to instruction

Article 2 of Protocol No.1

Everyone has the right to go to school. Nul ne peut se voir refuser le droit à l’instruction. This right is crucial to the exercise of the other human rights, and to the freedom and independence of every person. The State has a duty to respect the right of parents to ensure this education and teaching in accordance with their religious and philosophical convictions.
